PCGen is a character in focused Java generator to support all games roleplaying (those in which each participant represents a different character and invents the events without text written in advance). The most representative are Dungeons and Dragons (3rd Ed., ® Wizards of the Coast) and Star Wars (Lucasfilm Ltd. ®).

PCGen gives you help to create a new character or modify existing ones, also offers the possibility to create templates of characters and thus generate several with the same root (several templates are already included).

PCGen data files are ASCII, which means that the one they can be edited by Notepad, Excel or your favorite editor while you record it as plain text (unencrypted).

PCGen is very customizable. You can add categories, races, deities, domains, gestures, skills, spells and weapons.
